But first things first, we suggest you understand the terminology.
Textures are images superimposed on a 3D object. In the case of DAZ and Poser, they are models of characters, creatures, etc. duf is an extremely handy format created specifically for working with DAZ Studio. It contains information about the character (its shapes) and creates the shader base.
Materials determine how the three-dimensional object appears on the screen. They control the color of the object and how much its surface reflects light. Often, different materials can have multiple textures. For example, there may be a diffuse texture, a normal map, and a specular map. These are all different types of textures, but they make up the final appearance of an object.
Almost all of the textures and materials you'll find here are compatible with dForce, a technology that allows you to give your character model a realistic look. In the case of textures, this means that there are no seams, and the texture will always be in the right position, even when the character performs certain actions. For example, if you raise the character's arm up on the screen, the texture will follow it, using algorithms to calculate the correct position.
Most of the textures you can find in this subsection are different clothes and their interpretation. Dresses, skirts, bikinis, bras, tank tops, jeans, sneakers, elegant boots - we have them all. But we've also collected other textures in case you're working with objects instead of characters.
