Requirements:
Minimum equipment needed is a DSLR/Mirrorless Camera; Memory Card; Camera battery; Zoom or prime lens of at least 85mm (70-200mm is ideal); Batteries/power source for flashes, triggers, flash controller; 3 flashes: High-powered strobes* – OR – if using speedlites or low-powered lights, MUST be HSS-capable *such as Godox AD-600Pro; Light stands and modifiers; 18% grey card for setting exposure; Flashlight; For the jump bar – Either an agility-type jump/hurdle set, or two 5-gallon buckets (or similar sized “stands”) and a mop or broom handle; Plain (non-colored) cornstarch powder to practice with.
Optional for this course but will enhance your experience: Cornstarch-based "powder" in color(s) of your choice; Tripod; Black backdrop and backdrop stands; Laptop with Lightroom Classic installed and a tethering cable OR a Cam Ranger wireless tethering device; Shutter cable release -OR- other remote -OR- a Pluto trigger/cable and phone for the app that controls it; Portable fan
This course was developed for pet photographers who are very familiar with their camera's controls and are experienced with using lighting equipment (speedlites or strobes, wireless controllers and triggers, and modifiers such as softboxes, etc.)
